Fort Worth man killed in wreck with DWI suspect

A man suspected of driving drunk crashed his car head-on into another vehicle Saturday night, killing a 63-year-old Fort Worth man, police said Sunday.

The suspect, whom police did not identify, was taken to Texas Health Fort Worth hospital where he was under police guard. His condition was not available Sunday.

The Tarrant County medical examiner's office identified the victim as Larry Thompson, who died from multiple blunt trauma. His death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner's Web site.
